I knew something had to change, so I started WIMFA—Women in Multifamily Austin in 2022. It began as a small networking group focused on empowering women to invest in multifamily real estate. And it took off. As chapters grew from Austin to Houston and beyond, the vision expanded too. Women wanted more—a space to explore not just multifamily but also other commercial investments like self-storage and RV parks. They wanted COMMUNITY. They wanted EDUCATION, STRATEGIES, and GROWTH. They wanted to build real partnerships.
And so, the Wise Network—Wise Women Invest in Real Estate—was born. It’s a network that fills the gap—a place where women can learn, grow, and invest wisely.
How we are different...This isn’t about a single “guru” telling you what to do. It’s about all of us supporting each other, learning from those who’ve been there, and lifting each other up to succeed.
For me, sharing this journey with my daughter, Anna, and daughter-in-law, Rachael, and seeing other women bring their daughters to meetings—that’s my WHY. Leaving a legacy and encouraging the next generation—that’s what it’s all about.
